About this place
The most photographed beach in the Ionian — a pale crescent of pebble shut in by a 200-metre limestone cliff. The water is cold and impossibly clear; the wind, when it comes, is from the open sea. Most arrive by car park up top and descend the steps; the gentler approach is by small boat from Vasiliki.
